AIBU to be fed up with being fought over and cannibalised by my dc?

I cannot be having a cuddle with one, without another wanting to join in, and then they fight over me. And one of them, if a sibling joins in, gets up and leaves - he won't share the cuddle any more than they will.

I'm so fed up with it!

Cannibalised? I certainly don't accept mine eating me.

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 19/08/2013 12:56

Monopolised?

ILoveAFullFridge · 19/08/2013 13:08

I feel like the roast chicken grabbed by three children who each want a drumstick. So, yes, cannibalised.

We have this at the moment and it drives me NUTS! It gets to the stage where I just want to hide somewhere no one can cuddle me! We do have one on one time with each individually, but they still get like this. No idea what the answer is but you have my sympathies!

twin 4 yr old boys - both want hugs both DO NOT want to share mummy - lots of crys of he is touching me /breathing on me etc ....

its when I am in the kitchen and one sneaks in for a cuddle all ninja style so his brother dosnt notice then he does and practically leaps at me from whatever vantage point he can get usually injuring himself or his brother......

No one wants a hug when I am sitting on the sofa ... except DD.... and she usually has a rat up her jumper :)

I tend to hide in the loo :)

Don't wish it away, it goes so quickly. My 10 year old won't go near me now, offers his head for a kiss Hmm I love having DS2 and DD fight over my cuddles because I know it will only be another year then DS2 will reject me (he's 6!) I've got 2 year old DD for a good while yet. Yesterday at a music festival they were arguing over the left knee, that was annoying but I know in 15 years time they won't be seen dead with me so ho hum.

pumpingprincess · 19/08/2013 14:25

DD only seems to want to sit on my lap when I'm sitting down for a cup of tea and a bit of peace. Then she wants to sit on my lap and wriggle around, wiping snot on me as she does.

Drives me mad

My eldest is 12 and my youngest is 6, and they all still want cuddles. Long may it last! My lap and my arms are big enough for all of them.

It just hurts that they won't share me.

16 yr old DD still sits on my lap. She's taller than me. It's nice but my legs do go numb after a while...

yup, i sympathise, and totally agree with 'cannibalised'... mine are 12, 5 and 3 and they all want a piece of me. oh and the dog. and then husband gets home and wonders why i run away Smile
