Hello everyone.........
I'm selling our home and we have had it valued at approx £300,000 less than what it cost and with work done. I would like to know where I stand on a few things . My cooker is free standing and cost over £6,000 can I take this.???? I have 2 light fittings that I would like to take as these were over £5,000 and my curtains were mtm by Laura Ashley and I paid thousands as I have 47 windows.... I have only lived here for 18 months and don't really know how things work in the UK . Any advise pls

Oh hello again OP. Are the other threads not getting enough attention?

Sorry you are in this situation. Renting sounds good, you can always sell extra thing s to new buyer on top of purchase price, What will you do with a £6000 oven abroad and light fittings that may not travel well?

I would also market house for amount I wanted and see what happens. My last house was valued between 590,000 and 650,000 I needed more so marketed for 780,000 and achieved 760,000 first viewing first day on market.!!!

Twice in a week I've done this.

assuming this is for real:

there is no point taking the curtains, they will never fit another house. Take if you want but waste of time.

you can take the light fittings, just replace them with a simple fitting and a bulb. Ditto the cooker. Both must be noted as not included in the fixtures and fittings list.

Are you taking 47 pairs of curtains abroad
