Last time I was looking for a house share I had a message from a guy who had a one bed flat, I could either have the whole flat for x amount or share for y amount. I was a bit shocked! Wouldn't wanna share a one bed with my best mate never mind s strange guy!

When I was at college me and my friend had this wild dream of moving to New York City and we were online looking at flats/rooms to let, several ads had no photos and very limited descriptions of the property but photos of the landlord/flat mate and a description of what kind of flat mate/tenant they were looking for.

It was a man offering a flat share and looking for a female to share with. No blacks, Asians or DSS allowed although no rent, gas or electric payable. He was asking to meet up and get to know someone face to face before they move in with him. It was written in very poor English and most bizarre.
