My dh is being pathetic about buying himself a waterproof jacket. He needs one, but instead of going to Millets and buying one in the sale like any normal person he keeps ordering trendy branded ones - they arrive, he doesn't like them and sends them back. Just caught him googling snow and rock goretex jackets at 200 a pop. We don't have much money and all the children need school shoes and trainers. AIBU to get cross about it?

YANBU! Kids shoes are not exactly a luxury item are they? Tell him to get a grip and grow up!

Go out now and buy the shoes or order them online. If not, withdraw the money and jeep the cash for the shoes. Then presumably he doesn't have the money for the jacket?
