To think the child is planning something?

He has been great all day. He didn't wake til 9am! Yes, 9am! Normally I'm lucky if he sleeps til 6am.

He has eaten all his breakfast and didn't whinge about the colour bowl I gave him or even the colour of the spoon.

He asked 'mum, can I watch SpongeBob please?' instead of his usual act of putting it on his self and pressing buttons on the remote til he loses his temper.

He put all his toys away when asked and helped tidy the living room.

He is now sat on his Buzz Lightyear chair with a glass of juice watching SpongeBob in silence while holding his baby. No strange questions been asked, no joke telling, no whinging and just no toddlerisms at all!

I feel like its the calm before the storm. So what is he planning?

He has just asked if we can make pizza. I explained we are doing that on Saturday. He just said 'ok mum'.

Shock What is going on?! Where's the tantrum?!

Check his temperature Grin

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/08/2013 11:32

DD3 was always like this when she was coming down with something. The only time in her 6 years that I've had a peaceful few days is when she had chickenpox. Usually she's spoiling for a fight but being under the weather seems to take the fight out of her and makes her a much more pleasant child Hmm

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/08/2013 11:35

Hes up and asked for my little handbag. Hes pretending to go shopping now.

Last night he was been a pain and this morning its a different child.

Neena28 · 15/08/2013 11:42

Another vote here for a stealth poo.

'Ware the sneaky turd in the toe of your shoe.

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/08/2013 11:49

He doesn't stealth poo. He never has. He goes to the toilet and even I'm not allowed to see him while he is sat on it Grin

I get my orders when he has finished.

He is now sat with some cold pasta at the table and not making a mess. His dad is coming for him soon so I hope what ever he has planned he does down there Grin

I'm with Alldirections. Pack the calpol and a thermometer for his Dad.

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/08/2013 12:27

He has gone. I got loads of hugs, kisses and told he will miss me.

Confused I dont like it. I'm off on a hunt to see what he has done.

Maybe he is just growing up Sad

Alien parasite changing his behaviour? Do you live in a town called StepfordJunior?

cuttingpicassostoenails · 15/08/2013 15:05

Loving the idea if the stealth poo.

cuttingpicassostoenails · 15/08/2013 15:06

of not if

Katiepoes · 15/08/2013 15:42

He's about to come at you on his tricycle and knock you down the stairs...ask his Dad to take him to the zoo and see how the monkeys react?

A poo on the piano, amicissimma? Tell us more!

BiscuitDunker · 15/08/2013 15:59

I agree with the other posters saying he's ill/coming down with something. Its the only time my dd (almost 4) behaves herself, doesn't have tantrums or cause me any sort of bother....I'd ring his dad later this evening and see how he's been since he picked him up....

I would still be expecting to find some sort of ninja style act of naughtiness lurking somewhere in the house though....I don't trust a quiet toddler/child unless they're ill Hmm

Labro · 15/08/2013 16:06

I'd say that he realised his dad was picking him up and his dad said something last time along the lines of ' if you're really good we will do/get x'
Either that or hes coming down with the vomiting bug thats doing the rounds!

I've been out to my mate and her week old baby. I found no foul play before I left. I will keep looking.
