YANBU. I well remember DD1;s phase of "Mummy doin?" but now she's 9 it seems massively cute. So actually YABU!

i know "snuffing your candle out doesnt make mine shine brighter" but, i am helping my 19 year old daughter pack as she is moving out for uni. Doesnt seem THAT long ago she was sitting tapping on the bathroom door asking "wha-do doin now mum?" Its a bitter sweet moment OP that comes round WAY too fast

diddl · 14/08/2013 14:22

Apparently, I used to sit outside the bathroom asking Mum "what are you doing, are you going to be long?"

I just used to let mine in with me!

diddl · 14/08/2013 14:23

Ah, youmeSad

Mine are teens now & show no very little interest in what I'm doing anymore!!

youmeatsix · 14/08/2013 14:25

I get "Whassa are you doin', mummy?" constantly from my 2.2yo DD, when I answer she says "Whoi-yyyyy?". It's hilarious, no idea why she speaks like that, I think my friend from dahn sarf is giving her secret Cockney elocution lessons behind my back Grin

See it as a phase - a short one hopefully.
