To think about having a pizza express birthday party for four year old DD?

See link www.pizzaexpress.com/parties/kidspizzamaking/. I know she would love it, getting messy, making own pizza etc but is it a bit too grown up in general for the majority of four year olds? (this will be the main age of attendees). I'm also liking the fact that there is no mess/cooking for me too Grin

sounds lovely. enjoy.

I doubt most would have the attention span and be able to be that inactive for long enough to make most of it or not be disruptive.

My 2 year old would love that, so I expect most 4 year olds would be fine.

LIZS · 13/08/2013 13:33

but I think with lo's that sort of activity only works when you have a one to one adult/child ratio.

KellyElly · 13/08/2013 13:34

LIZS It will only be around 8 children and I would imagine all the mums will stay. I know what you mean. Couldn't leave the poor pizza express people to deal with a load of four year olds alone Grin

The T&Cs say

"An appropriate level of adult supervision must be present at all pizza making parties. This supervision is as follows:

Ages 4-5 ? 1 parent for every 4 children
Ages 6-7 ? 1 parent for every 6 children
Ages 8-11 ? 1 parent for every 10 children

Whilst the dedicated party host will be on hand to entertain the children throughout the party, parents must be nearby at all times and must step in to help any children go to the toilet or wash their hands."

Sounds lovely. My 4yr dd hates pizza (strange child) but would make it happily and I would eat it. I think most 4 year olds would be ok but the terms and conditions do state 4-5 year olds. Is your child going to be the youngest one there?

KellyElly · 13/08/2013 14:38

blondefriend They will all be four apart from one who is seven.
