I don't get it.

You are being a bitch. Just saying....

If you can't take it, don't give it. Just saying....

We know you are, because we can read!!!!!

It makes me think of teenagers for some reason, but I keep seeing it more and more on here.

Are they trying to cushion a blow?

What is the meaning????

Confused

Eh?

Step away from the mushrooms.

MrsHoolie · 12/08/2013 23:02

Yanbu.

WorraLiberty · 12/08/2013 23:03

I think it started as a Facebook thing.

Just sayin'...

YoungBritishPissArtist · 12/08/2013 23:03

YABU. Just sayin'.

MacaYoniandCheese · 12/08/2013 23:03

I don't have a problem with it because I iz down wiv da yoof. Just sayin'.

lifeissweet · 12/08/2013 23:04

No, OP. I know what you mean. I hate it too. It makes an otherwise neutral comment seen rude. Like people who write after a comment.

lifeissweet · 12/08/2013 23:04

That was (shrug) after a comment.

reggiebean · 12/08/2013 23:04

Agreed. I loathe that saying and every time someone says it, they do so with this smug, bitchy look on their face... "Just sayin'..."

Rage, rage, rage. YANBU.

littlewhitebag · 12/08/2013 23:05

My DD who is 20 says this. I just take it with a pinch of salt. Life is too short.

BOF · 12/08/2013 23:06

Ohhhhhhhhhhh

Ok. It doesn't bother me really.

BlackholesAndRevelations · 12/08/2013 23:06

Is it a bit like, "I'm not being funny or nuffink, but..."?

reggiebean · 12/08/2013 23:09

Blackholes It's like that, but a million times more bitchy. It's so snide... I hate it!!

It's always said at the end of a particularly rude comment, i.e.: "You should really join a gym... Just sayin'..."

Tortington · 12/08/2013 23:09

I'm not being funny or nuffink, but.. shrug Just sayin'

squoosh · 12/08/2013 23:11

YANBU

People think it absolves their preceding cuntery. It doesn't, it just copper fastens my belief that you are indeed a cunt. An unimaginative one too.

theonlysaneinthevillage · 12/08/2013 23:19

Bof.

Grin

I was going to post that you step away from the mushrooms - as everyone else understood me.

But you got there in the end. Wink

I am definitely not cool, or down with the kids.

Thank the lord.

I agree it is usually said to absolve some cutting remark, but actually has the effect of making the remark worse.

I'm soooooo laid back, but it's like nails down a board to me for some reason. I hate it.
