I am trying to change an appointment but I cant get hold of any body - what can i do?

I had a scan a month ago which found a "simple cyst" on one of my ovaries I have another next week to see if its shrinking but now I have to go away. I have been trying to get hold of someone for three days, both on the direct number from the letter and the hospital switch board but there is no answer at all. I dont want to just not turn up so can anyone think of anything else I can do?

Speak to Consultants secretary?

Does the hospital switchboard have any human receptionist or does it go to a menu straight away?

could you speak to the GP and explain and see if they have any other way of contacting them?
um... go into the hospital if it isn't too far away and see if you can find an actual person?

Tweet the trust saying you can't get hold of anyone. It works for the hospital I work at!!

the hospital switch board is a menu then it just ring out and then hangs up!. I will try looking for an email now. Thanks!

bear left I dont have a consultant I dont think...I have no idea the last scan was done at the doctors just this one is at the hospital.

try ringing the switchboard again and keep pressing random options until you get to someone... apologise and explain and see if they can transfer your call?

Yes, I agree. Any human is better than those infernal option pressing programs.
