Do it right back at them and see how they like it.

Poor ds.

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 09/08/2013 20:41

Do they both still live at home?

Tell them to pack it in! They're old enough to know better. He's 8, what's their excuse?!

Either that or bang their bloody heads together Grin

I get that a lot! Why do they find it fun to make 4yo DD scream! Drives me mad! Apparently "it's fun" Angry

You can't possibly tell a child off for every little things IMO!! And yes they both live at home and Neva lift a finger. Dd has 'lounged' on the sofa all day playing the sims while I've just finished my jobs ffs. Her excuse is its her day off. Now where's the Bacardi ..........

Mine (21 and 16) do that to my 13 year old. He is not allowed to have an opinion, and they nit-pick all the time, and it drives me mad. I am forever telling them off for it!

Alisvolatpropiis · 10/08/2013 09:57

There is a similar age gap between my younger brother and myself (8 years).

They do it because they find him insanely irritating and have nothing in common to bond them together. Bar shares genetics.

It isn't that nice but that's why.

Hmm DD sounds charming.

They probably find the 8 year old v annoying, and don't have the maturity to deal with it. Let them know in no uncertain terms that they are free to move out if they aren't happy.

Are they full brothers and sisters? Might be some jealously there too.
