AIBU to expect posts in this section to actually be asking whether somebody is being reasonable or not??

Seems to me that an increasing number are other debate type questions badly altered to fit here.

It hurts my organised nature and my compulsion to clean up. Like having a sock in the knicker drawer. Or putting llamas in with zebras at a zoo.

Rule of thumb; AIBU questions can be succinctly answered with yes or no. There then may be some debate to the why of it. If you're not looking for a yes/no before this debate, it's probably not really an AIBU question.

(Sorry everyone - rant over. I'm pregnant, so full of up-duff hormones, and have had a bad day, so there's a slight chance this matters to me way more than it should! Wink )

It used to wind me up as well, OP, but now I just get on with it! Wink If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Grin

YANBU btw!

NarkyNamechanger · 09/08/2013 17:51

Yanbu (which autocorrects to YABU so I'll have to watch that!)

However my pet hate is people who don't put the whole question in the title. :)

FrussoHathor · 09/08/2013 17:53

Llamas and zebras I could handle. Llamas and alpacas in together, now that gets me.

I don't think Yabu or yanbu.

Yabu- because some OPs choose to post her because of the posters that frequent here, and to get a certain response that only aibu posters can give.

Yanbu- because sometimes you just want to say Yabu to the title but get into the thread to realise that you've been pulled into discussing cupcakes or whatever.

thebody · 09/08/2013 17:55

Yes yabu.😉

Narkynamechanger - I apologise! (Being flakey, that will probably start to irritate me too now Wink )

Good to see I'm not alone!!

Oh god yes, Narky , drives me MAD when you don't get ......

the whole question in the title Hmm

FruOla · 09/08/2013 18:21

YANBU, Jodi. I see one on here at the moment asking for decent restaurants in a particular area. Why couldn't the OP of that one just post in Chat, which is just as busy?

But I try not to get too annoyed by it on the whole Grin

Yama · 09/08/2013 18:24

Hide, hide and thrice hide.

Vivacia · 09/08/2013 18:24

YANBU.

JodiLeighLeigh · 09/08/2013 18:38

Great to see some tidy-minded people.
Not putting the full question in the title is even irritating me now. Sorry ladies! Blush

It's ok OP, you don't need to put the whole question in the title (well I don't think so anyway) but an indication of what the thread is about is helpful to allow posters to know which threads they are going to be interested in and which ones they have commented on - and which is which.

Eilidhbelle · 09/08/2013 19:03

YANBU and I know this wasn't the point of your post, but I hate reverses. They suck. And I always get sucked in and read twenty-five pages before it's revealed and it drives me up the pole.
