To lock myself in the wendy house and deny my siblings and son access?

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 13:29

My mum and stepdad have bought a shed and turned it into a Wendy house with a kitchen, shelves etc.

Now all I wanted when I was younger was a Wendy house and I was denied that but now my siblings and son can have one?!

I dont think that is fair and I am thinking about locking myself in and playing and they can deal with it!

There is even a pretend washer machine and some juice and biscuits in there today!

Of course YANBU.

Take supplies; plenty of Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit, maybe a flask of Brew or even Wine and barricade the door.

In fact, can I come and play too?

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 13:45

Come and play if you want!

I just don't think its fair tbh Grin

Yanbu. Don't let them in with out a password. Tell no-one the password.
Moody margret's password is nunga.

EverSoNear · 08/08/2013 13:54

sami is right, you definitely need a password. Make up a word so no one will guess. Then sit back and enjoy playing house. Maybe you should invite your ds' baby in, just so you can play families.

CakeExpectations · 08/08/2013 13:55

I hope that you have let your DM know how unfair you believe the current situation to be, repeatedly and in an appropriately whiny voice. Grin

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:00

Ever that baby would kill me. Creepy thing!

I have alerted her to my disappointment and have questioned why I wasn't allowed one but these are. She has started off some sibling rivalry now.

They are 3 and 2 my siblings and my son is 3. I am 22 so I think I will beat them Grin

Its not faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaair. >
My dps are the same, when we were growing up it was all play quietly, get orf the plants, no you cant have a chocolate biscuit. They spoil my dc and dns rotten, bought slides and a sandpit all manner of toys, and they don't mind if they trample on the plants make a lot of noise or want chocolate biscuits, in fact they encourage it.
I wanna play in your wendy house.

runningonwillpower · 08/08/2013 14:01

Oh, I have serious Wendy House envy.

We couldn't afford one when my children were little but my grandchildren will have the deluxe version with a verandah. And a fully stocked doll's house - even if they don't want one.

LazyFaire · 08/08/2013 14:05

Do it.

And make a sign for the front door Sp's Wendy House no access by parents under any circumstances. No access for children unless password provided. Password is changed hourly. Take your shoes off.

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:07

Mum has gone to work so just stepdad and children here. I need to lure them out with chocolate.

The 2 year old is hard to crack though. I will need to work hard to get him out. The 3 year old should be easy.

PollyPlummer · 08/08/2013 14:09

and bring gin

Oldraver · 08/08/2013 14:11

We have an old cotbed with one side taken off to make a sofa in our shed...if you squidge up you can have a nice snooze...could you demand a sofa in there ?

FWIW...my older DS has been known to winge "but I was never allowed to play with guns" etc Grin

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:11

They have dragged a slide in now and a chalk board!

Think they are showing off now. 2 year old is trying to get his tunnel in.

I might out them all on the trampoline and zip up the enclosure thing so they cant get out

I'm in the Wendy house with my 2 year old brother. I have him guarding the door. Sister and son are outside telling us to get out.

Never!!

OP posts:
EverSoNear · 08/08/2013 14:17

Good point about the baby, you don't want to risk it. Can you not lure them out with a trail of chocolate buttons?

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:19

I'm in but bot sure how long I can hold them off.

Stepdad is just watching oblivious to the stand I am taking.

It's not FAAAAIIIIIRRRRRR!!!

ConflictDodger · 08/08/2013 14:23

I longed for one of these as a kid. YANBU!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/08/2013 14:23

Just interesting that there is another fred about fairness right now.

SP hold your ground! Never surrender!

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:26

I have commented on that thread you linked to Hearts.

I am the oldest of 7 and I was brought up with stricter rules than the rest. My 13 year old brother gets away with a lot more than I did at his age!

Its not fair at all and I will not stand for it any longer. They don't even play with the kitchen correctly

OP posts:
HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/08/2013 14:30

Ha! What is the correct way to play with a kitchen then Wink ?

My little brother got treated differently too & did not get half the punishments I did. He stayed up as late as me even though I was 2 1/2 years older. And my parents bought him a fucking dirt bike the summer he was 14. I think I got a bin bag filled with styrofoam noodles and hair balls.

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:31

They are threatening to tell mum/nanna now. They haven't realised shes out.

2 year old buggared off and has joined them. I have taken picture of the kitchen they have in the shed.

Its better then any play kitchen I ever had in the house!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/08/2013 14:31

You realise we are cross-posting on two different threads Grin

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 08/08/2013 14:32

Hearts They aren't even using the microwave properly. They have put forks in it! They have a sink and yet out plates on the shelf after eating imaginary food.

Its the doodle bear all over again.

BiscuitDunker · 08/08/2013 14:32

I wanted a wendy house when I was a kid! Even my mum wanted one when she was a kid and really wanted me and my sister to have one but they were soo bloody expensive we never got one!

My mum is now determined to talk my dad into buying one and putting it in their garden for my dds to play in,ok 1 is currently still in my tummy but she'll love it once she's big enough to play in it and my dd1 would love it! if they get a look in and can get me and my mum out of it Grin
