Hi all, been lurking for a while but just had to get this of my chest tonight as its driving me mad!
I know i am probably being U for starting another mil thread amongst the many already in existence but please bear (pardon the pun) with me...
Wee bit of a back story,
Mil is an avid shopper despite constant pleads of poverty, borrowing money off dh which is often conveniently forgotten about -_- and since DD was born has been bringing so much junk to our small house. Its not even that she buys just one item, but several at once, so Dd will bring a bag full of tat home each time. After what seemed like continuously nagging at DP i got fed up with nothing being done so decided to say something myself. I put this as politely as possible saying that we had no room in our house as it was and were trying to clear out stuff rather than bring more in. She subsequently ignored this and bought yet more stuff ; sent her a message and said like i z earlier, were trying to clear out, but got no reply.
Last weekend as a special treat for DD after clearing out her old toys etc, me and DP had gone to buildabear to make a teddy. She selected a pink bear and choose a dress etc for it. All was good and she was pleased with her new companion, who was bloody expensive as bears go.
Today MIL had arranged to take DD out for the day and is not long back. She arrives in with a new coat on and a fucking pink buildabear rip off which looks eerily similar to buildabear. Im so annoyed and pissed off as now it takes everything away from out special treat for DD as she now has this new one.
Me and DP have been arguing as I am upset about this while he has z i am being U and 'pathetic'.
