Watched a few times, and stopped. The research is so shoddy I've seen them present something which is blatantly untrue as a statistical fact. Either the researchers are really really really stupid or they just didn't even bother to research and made it up. And the audience and guests just believed it?! I sat there knowing the real facts, fuming, then switched off when I couldn't bear to listen any more

I love watching the Wright stuff but today's subjects are just do blatantly knocked from here . Do you think his being off sick meant the researchers got lazy?

I bought the Mirror the other day and there was an article on boring attractions eg pencil factory - sure it was lifted from the thread here a few days earlier!

The Internet makes researchers lazy. Sad but true.
At least they credited mumsnet in the end and had a screenshot of the thread.

MN is always on The Matthew Wright Show.
Some are lifted completely from here - he had a whole section of TWS discussing where your clock should lie on your mantlepiece, and also one about a holiday/ wedding thread (it was something like that anyway.)
Both were current threads at the time.
He professes to hate MNetters and say they spend too much time on there but for something he hates so much he sure spends a lot of time on here (or if not him, his researchers do! )
We need to plant silly threads just to see if they end up on there, lol!
