Itd be like spam but with space dust popping candy bits throughout.

steppemum · 02/08/2013 23:48

well, seeing as how they live on the moon, there would be a definite cheesy edge to them

TheFillyjonk · 02/08/2013 23:55

Sorry to derail the thread, but this pressing question just popped into my head - what would ET taste like?

Ropey and stringy is all I'm getting.

meditrina · 02/08/2013 23:59

They probably make a nice soup...

TSSDNCOP · 02/08/2013 23:59

Stringy and fluffy. Like frayed wool obvs.

BawbagBiggins · 03/08/2013 00:01

Very much like Moomin... but a bit more gamey

maras2 · 03/08/2013 00:03

Why on earth would you want to eat a Clanger you savage. You wouldn't want to eat Sooty or Paddington would you.I don't know what the world's coming to.

BawbagBiggins · 03/08/2013 00:04

We're all in this together maras... might have to eat Bagpus soon just to survive

maras2 · 03/08/2013 00:08

:) BB.

LimitedEditionLady · 03/08/2013 09:14

Could you eat elmo?
I just dont think I could do it.

gordyslovesheep · 03/08/2013 09:23

Pork - everything 'tastes like pork' Grin

I disagree that The Clangers was the best thing on TV - Mr Benn, Mary Mungo and Midge and Fingerbobs kicked Clanger arse

starsandunicorns · 03/08/2013 09:24

You cant a moonmin thats so wrong but what about a womble

TravellingLemon · 03/08/2013 09:39

eat a flump like a kiwifruit

Grin
meditrina · 03/08/2013 09:41

I was wondering about Wombles too - eating them might be an ecologically sound step of which they'd heartily approve.

LimitedEditionLady · 03/08/2013 09:49

Medotrina, you could make a lovely warm coat from their fur.You probably need to wash it though,i bet wombles smell of bin juice.

SoupDragon · 03/08/2013 10:06

It's rather like gammon. Makes a particularly good soup as it happens. Or slow roasted with a good dollop of Glow Honey.

TiggyD · 03/08/2013 10:29

Oooh! Now I'm thinking of a joint or clanger ham with a glow honey glaze! Mmmmmmm!

Makka Pakka looks far too fatty to be worth eating.
Shaun the sheep...bit old. I'd go for Timmy instead.
Zippy I wouldn't eat, but he'd be fun to kill.
Tellitubies, not sure. But you could use their aerials as a toothpick afterwards.
Piglet...Mmmm. Young and suculent! I imagine a whole roast Piglet with an apple stuffed in his mouth.
Simon Cowel would taste of deceit and highly potent semen.
Bagpuss would taste of strawberry Angel Delight! Lovely!!!

SoupDragon · 03/08/2013 11:20

I see Bagpuss as more of a rhubarb and custard flavour.

Probably the most shocking AIBU I have ever seen on Mumsnet. Am off to have a lie down.

Wombles would be like venison. Their coats can be used to make wonderful slippers.

Iaintdunnuffink · 04/08/2013 20:20

Barbapapa would be very fatty, bleugh.
