To ask for help finding an xlcatapus

No, I'm not drunk in charge of a keyboard (yet!), but I do have a challenge for anyone who might be up for it. When I was younger, we had an alphabetical poster which listed various animals with words describing their poos e.g aardvark pellets, beaver dung, carp doo-doo etc. At the end there was a picture of Noah and his ark and it said 'what a smell there must have been'. It had lovely illustrations, sort of Quentin Blake-esque, and I specifically remember that the X was for 'Xlcatapus nothings' with a picture of an imaginary (I assume) animal.
I have so far been singularly unsuccessful in finding this poster, and as we are about to move and I will be decorating our son's bedroom, I would love to find one for him so if anyone has any thoughts I would be extremely grateful. Smile

I think you mean the "Poo Poster" by Chris Orr. You can get it at the Big Draw shop for £25. Here

Well I bow down to you, Pinky!!
You are truly amazing.

Nombrechanger · 02/08/2013 22:23

P.S. I love it and hate it all at once!

PinkyHasNoEars You are truly a magical and wondrous person. If I knew you in real life, I would buy you a drink, but as it is, you will have to settle for living in the knowledge that vital poo-related information and the related joy that it brings will be passed to another generation. Thank you so much - this has been one of those things that periodically drives me into a frenzy of frustrated googling, but you have now removed that source of intermittent stress from my life. I shall be forever in your debt. And in case anyone else is doing the same as me, I shall spell xcelcatapuss correctly so that they will be able to find this thread and rejoice in your glory all over again. Smile Thanks Smile Thanks Smile Thanks Smile

I've just looked at it again and 'Queen bee tinkles' and 'field mouse wee wee' have brightened my night, so I would like to repeat all the above and add a sprinkling of unicorn caca, which must surely have magical properties, no?

*Disclaimer -might be a little bit drunk in charge of a keyboard now - surely only moments away from declaring PinkyHasNoEars my bestest mate evah...

"Dog shit" ?! Confused

MimmeeBack · 03/08/2013 11:32

I hope either your son is older than I first thought, or that you re-examine this poster when slightly less intoxicated Grin

DoJo · 03/08/2013 13:01

Ha ha - my son is 1 at the moment, but I am hoping by the time he can read this for himself he will be able to appreciate that sometimes the mot juste in one situation is inappropriate for others like I did as a child. Or I'll hide it and keep it for my own amusement, whichever will get us into least trouble with his teachers!
