None of you will have a clue who I am as I've just NC'd anyway.

I am bored of this place, BORED I TELL YOU, plus it's so difficult to MN during summer hols.

How does an elephant get down from a tree? He sits on a leaf and waits until Autumn.

Which is when I'll be back, probably.

Who ARE you?

Reality?

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 02/08/2013 16:12

I'm very very very bored too, my books all look rubbish (not brightly covered) my DC are away, I almost had a panic attack as my laptop charger just broke...so had to rush out and buy a new one, now I'm also broke, so broke and bored.

Oh and it's hot outside again...

Just drink tea then come back, or lurk, I lurk too much

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2013 16:13

Diary - shall we swap books?

OP - I think I know who you are.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 02/08/2013 16:14

Neh it's not Reality.

See you in 3 days the autumn my dear.

Pagwatch · 02/08/2013 16:14

Have you tried putting a hammer through it.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2013 16:16

Is it you who keeps breaking the damn site and making it go offline too?

lightening crack sounds like bleaching of hair

No, not Reality.

I had a new book delivered today "500 Toys" by Nguyen Le

That should keep me out of mischief.

Pags, I am tempted by the hammer idea.

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 02/08/2013 16:21

Yes to book swap

there was a story with it wasn't there? or there was at my school, woman went to the doctor he said so many pills for so many days, so you would tap out the numbers on the calculator etc, and she ended up BOOBLESS, - I guess she ended up with BOOBIES in your story!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2013 16:24

Diary - Okay, my first offer is, 'Dune' by Frank Herbert. I am sooooooooooooo bored of it.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 02/08/2013 16:24

Shock BOOBIES! I always thought it meant to say boobless but you'd either missed a 5 off the end and everyone was too polite to tell you or the name was already taken by someone who last used it in 2005!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 02/08/2013 16:25

Everlong, I have no idea who she is sorry!

Exactly ABF, I have been too polite about the BOOBLESS, we are right, BOOBIES is wrong.

Can I just ask OP as you've reached the end of your MNing days (for now Wink)

Does the typical MNer do this >

  1. find interesting MN site, somehow
  2. lurk a bit
  3. lurk a lot
  4. tentatively join
  5. tentatively post
  6. tentatively post a bit more
  7. start posting a lot
  8. post on the hour every hour, if not more?

....I am on (8), and DH is becoming more and more HmmConfused, and I am starting to pretend I'm not MNing, at all, oh no.

I need to be at you stage of

  1. flounce (much better than leaving quietly)

If my marriage is to remain intact.

Quetzalcoatlus · 02/08/2013 16:37

I should say Remus that I am not a seasoned crocheter, - I made a bumble bee when I was about 14, that was the last creation.

I just wanted to make something, erm, unique for my niece's baby shower next month.

It will most definitely be unique.

OP posts:
Quetzalcoatlus · 02/08/2013 16:38

Yes, Bowlersarm, that's about the size of it.

Mr Quetzalcoatlus does not approve of my MNing either.

Tough Shit, I say.

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2013 16:40

I knitted a hippo when I was about 14. It was a large, green, lumpy disaster. My sister's bitch :) was small, white and perfect. The day I think about crocheting is the day you drag me to the wall and shoot me please.

SuperiorCat · 02/08/2013 16:43
