For wine gums yes, if you said fruit gums then no!

WetAugust · 29/07/2013 22:00

I could pick up some fruit gums at the same time Grin

I drove to sainsburys for fondant fancies, even though I desperately need pregnacare as I'm craving soil ATM. I bought the fondant fancies and forgot the vitamins. Do it!

Gingerandproud · 29/07/2013 22:01

Then I would say go for it!

InTheRedCorner · 29/07/2013 22:02

We only had red ones in the last packet we bought from Asda.

WetAugust · 29/07/2013 22:02

I bet they were strawberry fondant fancies

If your not pregnant then sod that but if it was a pregnancy craving then its not a choice it's something you just have to do

WetAugust · 29/07/2013 22:03

While you're there, pick up some of their lovely soft cheese with pineapple, papaya and hazelnuts. It's my new favourite thing. And it's on offer at £1 a pack.

And it's out of stock here.

Howstricks · 29/07/2013 22:04

Well..I would imagine there lovely fruity flavour means they might have some vitamin C in them and the gelatine is good for your nails(?) so practically a health food..go for it, I'd say.

Punkatheart · 29/07/2013 22:04

Stop it. Now I want wine gums. And I don't drive. Dear Mumsnet there is a market for strange craving deliveries.

I am also not pregnant. Just fed up.

WetAugust · 29/07/2013 22:04

You don't have to be pregnant to have cravings Life. Grin

I love the black ones but I am partial to the green ones too. You can stick the yellow ones up your jumper though - insipid things!

WetAugust · 29/07/2013 22:21

Right - I'm off. Am currently making strawberry jam and need more sugar - well that's my excuse Grin

Howstricks · 29/07/2013 22:23

Are you using the wine gums in your strawberry jam? That's inspired!

Punkatheart · 29/07/2013 22:24

Ooh hot jam at nearly midnight...what a joy.

Enjoy your wine gums. Chew a few for us.

Boy that sounds odd.

neverbefore · 29/07/2013 22:49

yanbu i was thinking of driving to the co-op for some ben & jerrys cookie dough halfprice

Murtette · 29/07/2013 23:08

The bags of Maynards wine gums are only £1 a bag there at the moment.

Caboodle · 29/07/2013 23:24

YABVU, wine gums - yuk. But if you're going anyway will you get me a bag of blackcurrant and liquorice please?

whois · 30/07/2013 00:28

Sometimes these things are needed.

A couple of times in uni I solved the hangover problem by getting in my car, in PJ's and driving to the nearby (walking distance!) McDonald's to get a drive thru bacon egg mc muffin. I'm not proud.

WetAugust · 30/07/2013 00:55

I know Murette. They're a bargain.

I got your order too late Cab Grin

And they were goooood Punk Hmm.

As is the jam Grin
