in order of produced or story?

In order of produced, else the first one you watch would put you off. Hannibal rising= shit.

In order of produced.

Silence of the Lambs is brilliant, the others are pretty rubbish if I recall.

I would watch them in order of story, its like skipping to the last chapter in a book then starting it from the beginning if you watch them in the order they were made.

In story order, then you can be disappointed in the order the author intended .

i loved sileance of the lambs.. i watched two other but cant recall them,..though i have heard hannibal rising is pretty bad..

hmm i may watch them in story order..then skip if its unbearable....

Read the books. They're much better. Until the last one, which is a bit crap at the end.
