"I can't bring my myself to care about this",

Huh? Do you people understand Mumsnet not at all?

I'm always amused by those posters who state that they can't be bothered to engage in a discussion about something so trivial but CAN be bothered to post telling us that. Surely a massive contradiction?!

HoneyDragon · 26/07/2013 10:21

I know Usual. Do you think they know that we laugh at them?

glenthebattleostrich · 26/07/2013 10:22

WRT the tiger have you considered leaving the bastard? (I've always wanted to post that)

Also, I know this is your thread but I want to talk about clouds in the sky but can't be arsed to start my own thread so will try to distract and derail yours.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/07/2013 10:29

There aren't any clouds in my sky. Should I start a thread? You can all tell me how to get some.

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 26/07/2013 10:29

Why did you get a tiger in the first place if you knew you couldn't look after it?

You should have anticipated when you got it that it would turn rabid and take up residence in your downstairs bathroom.

oh, what's that? You didn't get the tiger?

Well, what were you doing buying a house without first checking for tigers? Why didn't you consider this? You have only yourself to blame.

I feel sorry for your children, your husband, your budgie, that slice of toast you had this morning and the kid you babysat for when you were 14.

TheMagicKeyCanFuckOff · 26/07/2013 10:30

Seriously though (I always like saying that), it's so annoying. So, because I posted a tiny little snippet of my life which annoyed me a bit, it means that I have nothing whatsoever to worry about apart from this?

TheVermiciousKnid · 26/07/2013 10:34

We have quite a few clouds in our sky, but we leave near a cloud factory.

thecatfromjapan · 26/07/2013 10:36

I like the idea of a monument to triviality. There should be a monument to triviality. Perhaps that plinth in Trafalgar Square? Though mn as the monument to triviality would be far better.

TheVermiciousKnid · 26/07/2013 10:38

Umm, I mean we live near a cloud factory.

InkleWinkle · 26/07/2013 10:39

Did you all mean to be so rude?

crashdoll · 26/07/2013 10:43

Guys, I will be hiding the thread. I wanted you all to know because I am VERY IMPORTANT.

FannyMcNally · 26/07/2013 10:44

'There aren't any clouds in my sky'

Stealth boast or what? Some of us DO have clouds at the moment and it's fucking annoying. I have to go upstairs and get a cardigan to go out in. And before you start YES, I'm lucky to have an upstairs and YES I have a cardigan. Two actually.

ScrambledSmegs · 26/07/2013 10:44

I am a monument to triviality.

crashdoll · 26/07/2013 10:45

But before I go, and now I really am going to pretend to hide the thread.

TheVermiciousKnid · 26/07/2013 10:45

I am a trivial monument.

You caught me Fanny! Grin

I was also marking my place.

ScrambledSmegs · 26/07/2013 10:53

Oh, those threads where people have a quite obviously vile relative and post about them (quite often mothers/MILs) and someone comes onto the thread and tells them to be grateful because their is dead. Very helpful.

If I said something like that to my dear friend who has a deeply poisonous mother and a very controlling (but loving) MIL she would quite rightfully twat me in the face with a frying pan. And I would deserve it.

usualsuspect · 26/07/2013 10:58

Or the other ones where the MIL has dared to let pfb stay up 5 minutes later than normal.

It's all 'nip it in the bud and cut her out of your life ,your baby your rules.

I'm monumentally trivial, with clouds, cardigan and three shitters in my house. Grant you, no tiger but then I live near Hull.

ScrambledSmegs · 26/07/2013 11:02

Could be any relative usual. Is brother in my case, although I love him really Grin

HoneyDragon · 26/07/2013 11:05

I have clouds and blazing sunshine. May I suggest the rest of you need to sort your lives and and organise your weather better?

OP posts:
FannyMcNally · 26/07/2013 11:05

Do we actually allow people on here from Hull? Just asking, don't want a flaming or anything.

TheVermiciousKnid · 26/07/2013 11:06

Hull is just misunderstood. :(
