Am I missing something? What does it mean?

Nice

SoleSource · 24/07/2013 23:55

Nicer than the average nice.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 24/07/2013 23:55

Nice but in over enunciated posh tone. Think Linda Snell.

Maryshoppins · 24/07/2013 23:56

I did think it was a typo. But seems a very common one!

OP posts:
VivaLeBeaver · 24/07/2013 23:56

Naice ham.

FannyPriceless · 24/07/2013 23:56

As in ham. Naice ham.

Maryshoppins · 24/07/2013 23:57

Oh right. Is this common knowledge or just on mumsnet? ... Am I being thick?!

OP posts:
BoysAreLikeDogs · 24/07/2013 23:57

As opposed to plastic (square) ham

FannyPriceless · 24/07/2013 23:57

Snap! Grin

VivaLeBeaver · 24/07/2013 23:57

It was a typo on a shopping list years ago. You know one of those threads that details everything on the list. Naice ham was on the list.

That's how I remember it starting anyway but it was ages ago, I might be wrong.

VivaLeBeaver · 24/07/2013 23:59

Everyone sniggered and said if naice hadn't been specified would they have bought crap ham instead.

Maryshoppins · 25/07/2013 00:01

Slightly confused but thanks!

would they have bought crap ham instead Grin
In my sleep deprived state this comment is hilarious.

Capitola · 25/07/2013 00:03

We only have naice ham as a result of that thread from aeons ago.

steppemum · 25/07/2013 00:06

I always giggle at naice ham, because that old shopping list could have been one of mine. I buy bog standard ham for sandwiches, and then nice ham for ham salad.

So my shopping list has nice ham. Blush

SlangWhanger · 25/07/2013 00:10

Ham

Naice ham

🐷

SirBoobAlot · 25/07/2013 00:11

Naice is a mumsnet word. Though I use it wherever possible now.

I also have a "I love nice ham and bumsex" badge from a meet up...

There are mumsnet moments that last forever. Naice ham, pom bears...

SirBoobAlot · 25/07/2013 00:12

Slang I just had to hover my mouse over those things and started laughing Grin
