Well, am I?

Am getting a bit excited now.

Just waiting for DH to finish prettifying himself. I am ready and having a restorative glass of wine to get me in the mood.

If you aren't a fan - then I am BU.

Ooh lucky you. We saw him at Wembley and Hard Rock Calling and both gigs were fab.

MrButtercat · 24/07/2013 20:34

I want to go again!!"

How long have I got to wait?

deadduck · 24/07/2013 20:34

Yes you are, but only because I'm not a good person. I bought tickets back in February for the very same concert tonight, and they never materialised. I just got a refund from the dodgy company, but still feel Sad and Envy

liftthatup · 24/07/2013 20:53

Saw him in Belfast on last Saturday. Not huge fan myself but bloody hell, can he put on a show- I really enjoyed it!!

liftthatup · 24/07/2013 20:54

Amazing isn't he?

He's 30 yrs older than me, I wouldn't kick him out of bed. I'd handcuff him to it Grin

Yonihadtoask · 25/07/2013 08:58

ha ha ha. I hear you.

This is the pic I was looking for.

I knew that pic would come up.

But totally with Tuna on this one. He is the same age as my dad, but bloody hell he is fit. And at one point in Cardiff he suddenly looked twenty years younger.

I have also developed a rather massive crush on Jake Clemons. Phwoar. If I got on that stage I would be like the lass who danced with Steve at Cardiff!

NameThatTuna · 25/07/2013 22:54

Jake!!!! How amazing was he?

I love him!

That woman who danced with little Steve was so much fun. Her face was a picture of pure joy. I've got it all on camera as I was quite near the stage.

MissBetseyTrotwood · 25/07/2013 23:27

I'm well jealous.

DH worked at Bestival when he was there. Allegedly, Bryan Ferry got a helicopter over to the site; Bruce was offered one but chose the ferry instead. What a legend.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 26/07/2013 08:13

Share the Jake love!

I totally agree re that woman - she was fab! The way she ran up the ramp!

ComposHat · 26/07/2013 09:44

not my cup of tea. ..but enjoy.

Now if ot jad been Patti Smith ypu could have bragged to your heart's content.
Patti Smith supported by Television easily the best gig I've ever been to.

mumeeee · 26/07/2013 10:55

Glad you had a good time. I went with DH to see him in Cardiff on Tuesday. It was amazing even though we had standing tickets and my feet were killing me by the end.

KittenofDoom · 28/07/2013 02:13

I was at Cardiff too. Finally got my hands on him Grin
Wasn't 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place' with Eric Burdon terrific?

MrsKoala · 28/07/2013 04:05

My parents have seen him a few times and said he's one of the best live performers they have seen (and they see loads).

They love him. I'm not a fan tho.

Have fun.

YA ALL BU. He is an awesome performer but he is not in the slightest attractive. ..noooo.

DH disagrees. weirdo.

tiggerpigger · 28/07/2013 18:07

He's the best live performer I've ever seen. Proper loves it, a real showman.

Spectacular.

chinam · 28/07/2013 18:47

Went to my first Boss concert a few weeks ago. He was amazing.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 28/07/2013 19:09

YY Kitten to 'We Gotta Get Out of This Place' - amazing.

I am stopping myself googling flights to Brazil...

MrButtercat · 28/07/2013 19:21

Me too

Pedallleur · 28/07/2013 20:40

First saw him in 1981 on The River tour (2 nights,Mcr Apollo, 2nd row) then both nights at the NEC. He was 32,lean and with the best band out there. Utterly stunning. He ended his first set like he was finishing the show and then came out and ramped it to fever pitch. Saw him on the Born in the USA tour twice when he became a true global superstar and a few times since. I've never seen him give less than 100%. Different shows every night and I've seen him pull some stunning songs out that v. rarely get played. An electric Point Blank in 1981 that was chilling and a version of Lonely Teardrops in 1987 that was truly spectacular. Darkness on the Edge of Town moves me to tears every time I've seen him do it. Prob the last true superstar out there and still has his integrity left.

LadyBeagleEyes · 28/07/2013 21:29

I saw him at Hamden in June.
He must have done a 4 hour set, I was so jealous of the woman who was pulled up on stage for Dancing in the Dark Envy
He' still fucking gorgeous, the E Street band were fab and he just seems to enjoy himself so much on stage.
Love him.

KittenofDoom · 29/07/2013 01:51
