it does not matter if someone smokes a fag walking past your baby, or if you leave the baby to cry while while you have a shower/go to the toilet, screen time wont kill your baby, your mil might be horrid but does it matter? cut her off or don't. Next doors kids annoying you? tell them to go away, i could go on with the parking threads that make me want to die but really none of these things are serious why do people get stressed by them? why do they need mumsnet to validate their responses to normal everyday situations..

Likewise, I could ask you why you are getting so stressed over what other people stress about. Biscuit

Some people are just more sensitive and worry more than others.

I agree to some extent....pick your battles

One person's minutiae is another person's MAJOR thing!

There are levels of annoyance though. Perhaps these people know that these things are ridiculous and don't deserve head space, and that is why they rant on here instead of troubling loved ones.

Let's face it, M N would be boring without them.
