to not expect my kitten to have shit in the dryer

Decide to dry all the bedding i washed yesterday as its raining here. Throws it in the dryer, gradually over the next 20 minutes the smell of cat shit has been getting stronger and stronger. I pulled all the sofas out, moved the bookcase looking for the offending turd. Then I went into the kitchen and nearly lost my lunch. My sheets are covered in warmed kitten shit. Not to mention the already dry crusty bits and the inside of the dryer looks like a group of chimps had a shit flinging contest.
Kitten is sitting on my bed looking smug. I think this is his revenge for getting him de-nutted last week

OMG! Shock Grin

Mind you, you're lucky the kitten didn't end up getting tumble dried

kinkyfuckery · 23/07/2013 15:29

Ooops! You'll have to learn to keep the dryer closed!

Beastofburden · 23/07/2013 15:33

LOL. We used to keep potatoes in a box under the sink. It was cold outside. One day we needed some potatoes. Available evidence suggested that staying in the warm for a shit was not a particularly recent decision by the kittens...

Whothefuckfarted · 23/07/2013 15:34

Ewww!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 23/07/2013 15:35

You need to keep the door closed. Its not uncommon for kittens to end up getting tumble dried or washed in the machine.
Im sorry for you though, I cant bear cat shit!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 23/07/2013 15:36

P.S. this is why I will NEVER own a cat!

ComposHat · 23/07/2013 15:39

close yhe dryer door, you nearly had crispy fried kitten!

Porridge05 · 23/07/2013 16:38

Hahahahahahaha.... I mean how awful!

Our kitten is fully housetrained, ever since she was a very young kitty (she was abandoned at 3 weeks old before we took her in). It doesnt stop her occasionally pissing on the washing (clean or dirty) in protest whenever she feels that her food bowl isn't quite full or no-ones rubbed her tummy for 10 mins!

ouryve · 23/07/2013 16:40

hahaha!

this could be the one benefit of washer dryers, other than space saving - you can clean them!

You need to keep that door shut, from now on. It could have been the kitten in there.

Warmed Kitten Shit sounds like the next trendy ingredient on Michelin starred menus. Grin

One of ours once did one from the top of the fridge all down the doors...delightful.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 23/07/2013 16:49

Urghhhhh - how hilarious horrible. Will you be able to get it all off, and out of all the little holes?

Lazyjaney · 23/07/2013 16:51

You err, it is not your kitten, you are it's servant. Clean it up, and sharply now :)

Twirlyhot · 23/07/2013 16:52

Please tell me it's a washer/dryer.

Poledra · 23/07/2013 16:55

Nah, Talc, it sounds more like the latest Farrow and Ball paint colour Grin

TalcAndTurnips · 23/07/2013 17:02

Poledra - that would be Smeared Kitten Shit.

On a clean, white background - a classic Edwardian look. Just ask meddie Grin

Justice for getting his knackers nicked. He won't be finished, that was round one.

IndridCold · 23/07/2013 18:18

Oh, they are such little tinkers aren't they? < sniggers >

If it's any consolation, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time Grin

teenagersmother · 25/07/2013 16:54

Have just spit my drink out over my keyboard as I have read this !! Brilliant stuff although don't envy the cleaning operation

WaitMonkey · 25/07/2013 17:12

Did you manage to clean up ok op ?

Sorry but that is funny! This sounds like stage one of his training routine - my advice would be to cave in, let him do what he wants and your life will become so much easier! Grin

Tailtwister · 25/07/2013 20:03

Yuk!

We had a kitten move in with us just before I went away to uni. Dad likes animals, but he's not a particular cat lover. He became less so when he realised the cat was using his fruit bowl as a urinal (he took a piece of fruit to work each day and only discovered the inch of cat piss at the end of the week) and shat on his pillow.
