To be disappointed that the one night dd has gone to bed early, noise outside means I can't sleep? (Lighthearted)

Gutted! My one chance at an early night gone. The local pub is having a LOUD karaoke night again. Like ridiculously loud considering how far away it is. And next door is having a very funny (by the sound of her screechy laugh) night with friends with the windows wide open. And its 29 degrees in here so I can't shut the window yet.

Sod's law!

You need a fan or an air con unit if you live near a noisy pub.

Must be annoying though

When I hear music in the distance I can't switch off because I'm either singing along to it in my mind, or I'm straining to hear what the actual song is Grin

That's the thing, its about half a mile away. Is that near in terms of noise? I've never lived near a pub before you see haha!

Its sooo loud too. WHEN YOU'RE HUGGING WITH YA BABY AND KISSING ON A BALCONY.

Its making me want to go join in haha Grin
