To bath my toddler

DD (2) hasn't napped today, she's really tired. I know DH loves to do bath time and have a play with her but she's shattered and he's now cross I want to bath before he gets home from his commute.

He'll still see her as there's still In the Night Garden and stories to do. I know IANBU, but how do I make him see that I'm not?

Let him give you a bath instead Grin
YANBU.

YANBU - you need to do what is best for your child. In this instance it is moving the routine forward. Yes it is a shame your DH can't do it, but there is always the next bath.
He needs to realise with babies you have to do what suits them at that moment in time. He is being a bit childish to get cross over you bathing your own DD.

Oh. I missed the bit where he's actually cross.
Tell him to fuck off get over himself.

Train was delayed so wouldn't have made it anyway - bad karma!
