Can anybody help with which benefits she'd be entitled to?
She is currently renting in Birmingham, doesn't have any significant savings.
She works a 35 hour week and earns 24k, baby will be due in March and she intends to take 6 months off. The father won't be living with them - he earns 16k, but it is questionable whether she will get anything off him! I don't think family would be willing to help out!
Obviously she will probably go back to work part or full time, can anybody help with how much childcare would cost and way up the earnings vs benefits depending on hours?
