About the nursery photographer? Not DS in one of the purchased pictures

I paid £35 for 3 large, 6 medium and 3 sets of small photos of DS from the photographer nursery got in. Picked them up today and one set of the small photographs is a completely different child!

I've let nursery know to check the other packs before sending them out to parents but I'm not sure if I should email the photo company and explain that they've not only given me a picture of another child and not the one I've paid for but potentially its a child protection issue (slight overreaction?)

Any sign of the photos of your child in someone else's pack yet?

I would email the photo company but in a polite complaint way, not ranty, and yes, the child protection issue is a slight over-reaction Grin

It sounds like a simple mistake that can be put right easily. No need to be concerned about it I don't think.

....but potentially its a child protection issue (wild overreaction)

Fixed that for you.

See I work at the nursery and one of our children is a looked after child therefore not one that photos can be shared of. I didn't mean child protection as in whoever got DS's pic could be up to no good with it!

Just to clarify that point Grin. I'll just send a polite email pointing out that I haven't got one of the photos I paid for.

Yes it was a mistake to send the wrong pics but as a parent of a child at the same nursery it wouldn't have mattered had this child been lac/adopted. Photo controls are to prevent family members identifying where the child is and you are not a great risk of doing that are you? Don't overreact.
