to dislike the summer, simply because I have to wash more?

I live with just my baby, and I have medical conditions which mean that I faint when I get too hot. So the summer months are hard enough anyway, but it feels like I can't even have a bath unless someone else is here, just in case I pass out! I just feel ugh right now:-(

I would put your hair up if it is long and have strip washes if you are scared of fainting. A fan or air conditioner would be a good investment.

Does someone check on you? Can you stay with someone or get a lodger? I think you may need a plan in case you faint because someone will need to make sure you and your baby are OK.

Why not have a tepid / cool shower? That's what I do when it's stinking hot - much nicer than a hot one. Or a cool bath, if baths are your thing.

I live in supported housing so I am checked up on regularly, I am safe I just don't want someone I don't know seeing me naked Blush I have been doing strip washes I still feel ugh... I'll try having a cooler bath, see how that goes, thank you both.

Also feet in a bowl of cool water can help.
