To think I shouldn't be able to hear the god awful karaoke coming from a pub streets and streets away?

The singing is dire! Why they can't have a nice pop song for me to bop along to I don't know! Anyone have any clue how long this could go on for noise level rules wise?

report them to your local council - there should be an online form
if its really bad, report to the police
if you can, log which songs are playing at what time to prove you can hear it

I have a recurring problem with a pub 1.5 miles away who have a huge sound system on sundays
10,000 houses have to listen to their DJs

Thank you :) I can't believe how loud it was considering how far away the pub actually is! Has the council done anything about the pub near you? 1.5 miles is so far!

We get this 5 days a week, twice a day. The noise covers the whole village and you can't get away from it.

Complaining to the Council did no good because..........it is the local Primary School teaching children how to line dance ! This has now been going on for 4 years and I hope the fanatical school assistant retires soon and we can all get some peace.

Forgot to say - this is OUTSIDE in the playground. We pray for rain!

the worst I've had was 9 hours

you can complain - keep doing it, lots of it, because they CAN be forced to turn the music down
if you are in a village, go through the parish council

also report them to the PRS (performing rights society) because if you can hear it, they are breaching their licence to play music "within the school"
