She's come off while mountain biking and I got a call from her boyfriend to come asap. Apparently they have put her on a spinal board. she'd Been out with her bf, my dniece, a friend and step niece and nephew all aged 4-8. My and dh dropped everything and drove an hour down to meet them. Dh now driving kids home to feed and put to bed. Boyf taking bikes home then coming to meet me. I got given directions to the access point the ambulance is getting her from and am here. Ambulance is here, specialist response unit and four by four but no one to be seen. What the hell to do now? She had to be taken back today as still not right Sad had more stitches in her mouth and a further ct scan as incredibly dizzy. All clear but needs monitoring for a few weeks as has very bad concussion. Please please please everyone wear a helmet! God knows what would have happened if she hadn't been Sad

hope your sister makes a swift recovery, and the dizziness eases soon - I had a crash in march and it did take about 6 weeks before I felt myself again - my DP is out on the mountain bike tonight, hes an hour late home and im beginning to panic willing the fact hes proberbly just got talking/fixing someone elses bike!
