Seriously we have gone from Waity Katie to bloody Dilatey Katie.

In all the papers is excitement as today is the due date even though only 4% of babies arrive on this day

Please no more!

The whole thing seems to have passed me by. I certainly haven't seen any headlines like that.

But then again, I don't read newspapers

I just watch the news on TV and read the BBC website

LastTangoInDevonshire · 13/07/2013 13:35

Fuck off and let me enjoy myself in peace OP.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 13/07/2013 13:36

Somehow... and I hate to break it to you.... I don't think your plea will be answered. But it's a nice day outside and, if you switch off the TV & radio, ignore t'internet and stride purposefully past the newsagent, you might just survive the Advent of the Princeling.

theorchardkeeper · 13/07/2013 13:37

It is mind numbingly boring, personally speaking. Plenty of women pop babies out everyday. Been there, done that. Ok so it's a royal but actually, not everyone gives a toss.

If that's what does it for you then so be it but please stop trying to get me to buy tat for my baby in relation to the royal birth!

(No offence to royalists in general. Just a tad annoying when you're not one but sort of forced to be unless you avoid most shops/the news/FB Grin )

theorchardkeeper · 13/07/2013 13:37

On the plus side...it's a lurvely day so I'm going to go and not give a fuck outside Grin

AmyFarrahFowlerCooper · 13/07/2013 13:43

Its so easy to skim past articles and change TV channels that it actually takes more energy to whine about it on here than it does to ignore it.

Ha ha just spat my drink out!

"Waity Katie to Dilatety Katie" Grin

Wonder whether she'll get to experience the wonders of the NHS post-natal ward. Somehow I'm very sure that she won't.

hiddenhome · 13/07/2013 14:02

I wonder if the Bounty lady will visit her Grin

littlewhitebag · 13/07/2013 14:04

I only choose to get news through BBC news website. No mention of it there.
