To think its pretty standard for a man to go down on a woman

I know it's not Friday Grin but its very hot and I'm bored at work waiting to go home!

Texting a friend who was telling me about a ONS she had at the weekend and she just announced in a shocked/smug tone that her man of choice went down on her because apparently that never happens Confused. According to her, in the world of casual sex it's normal for women to give men blow jobs but if a man goes down on a woman it means he really likes her. Surely this can't be true?

I met a guy who was obsessed with this. Really obsessed he liked it more than DTD.

Wasn't a ONS but wasn't a relationship either, he bored me to death, constantly droning on about oral, he was fixated, probably still is.

In my day, it was standard operating procedure. In fact, it was rude not to. They were so busy down there that blow jobs were an after thought. And god forbid they tried to spaff on your face. The very height of rudeness and they wouldn't want to get any on their Gazelles

I've only had 2 sexual partners in my life, my XH and someone I was seeing for 8 years.

XH didn't really like giving oral (still expected BJs though) but the other guy absolutely loved it.

I always thought it was part of a normal commited relationship.

I suspect it's a generational thing, personally I'd never offer oral unless I'd received it first, and I'd ditch him pretty quickly if I didn't get it.

FGS girls stop being so accommodating, women can get casual sex easily, make the men work for it and certainly never act as if he's doing you a favour Hmm

I've never had a ONS so really can't say.

However with experimenting but not leading to sexual intercourse, it does seem to be expected. But if the bloke really wants to get in your pants so to speak, he'll be willing to do it. If he's not that interested and has plenty of offers, he'll decline unless he likes to do it I am assuming in which case, it doesn't matter how much he likes the woman iyswim.

But as far as normal relationships go, I think it's a 50/50 thing like most people have said. It's a give and take and take and give scenario.
