To think its pretty standard for a man to go down on a woman

I know it's not Friday Grin but its very hot and I'm bored at work waiting to go home!

Texting a friend who was telling me about a ONS she had at the weekend and she just announced in a shocked/smug tone that her man of choice went down on her because apparently that never happens Confused. According to her, in the world of casual sex it's normal for women to give men blow jobs but if a man goes down on a woman it means he really likes her. Surely this can't be true?

Every man I've been with has gone down on me the first time, ONS or not.

Maybe I just got lucky but the guys I had casual sex with (only in my youth of course) were always up for it.
I even met a guy once who, despite me telling him I was on my period, still wanted to go down on me Shock I let him for a little bit but then felt way too weird so made him stop.
I still see him about and think 'oh look there goes the vagina vampire'

On the other hand my DH said he never used to enjoy BJ's. He always said it felt wrong letting a girl he barely knew get that intimate. He likes them now mind Hmm

In my (fairly extensive) experience of casual sex, oral sex either way is not often a part of a ONS.

IME it is more usual for a guy to go down during a ONS than a girl (me) to because I (wrongly) thought that oral sex for guys with condoms wasn't that great for most of my 'casual' time. And of course it isn't strictly a 'safe' activity. So, was always up front about it not being on offer. Didn't stop plenty (well, certainly the majority) of guys going down on me though.

Fortunately a casual partner with gonorrhoea (he didn't know at the time but had to call me up to tell me after a health check) taught me (and him) that oral sex for guys can be amazing for both of you with condoms. And without a relationship. He also taught me that condoms really do protect from infectious diseases!

Agree that either way can feel a little too intimate depending on the occasion/people involved though.

i have had a few casual partners and everyone of them has gone down on me i have not always reciprocated and when i have really liked someone i now wait

if done right it is amazing. only had one partner who was amazing at it the others ok or i often wondered what they were up to

I'd agree with 50/50 split, but I think it more depended on whether it was a quicky or a longer session.

In your friends case I wouldn't assume it means he likes her though, he might just find doing it a big turn on. Plenty of men do.

In my experience I got it but then I demanded it. ONS so why wouldn't u? Not giving out only I knw that much.

I don't think it's credible either to apply he likes u to ONS....

In my experience most men do. However, i would only be comfortable with it I had washed recently thanks to an ex who said he always 'gave his fingers a sneaky sniff' before going there with any partner. He always went down on me but it did mean I was a little (a lot) paranoid after that!
