I've got a fan but it's messing up all my papers so I've had to strategically put staplers and rolls of tape on everything.

I work.in a metal building,with no windows and no air con,not even a shitty fan..

No not if you feel ill from it.can you just tell them you can work at home?we just have to keep getting drinks and go slow because we di a lot if running about up and down stairs.

They can't make you stay if it is making you unwell.
While there is no legal maximum temperature they have a responsibilit to take reasonable steps to ensure a comfortable working environment

There is no maximum heat temperature so you just have to get a grip like the rest of the working nation im afraid !

Why don't you take a fan into work?

If you are on a KIT day you don't have to go in at all if you don't want to.

If you're not well then go home. You can't be forced to stay at work if you're unwell.

Is there a health problem causing you to suffer so much from the heat or is your place of work unusually hot?

Most people do just have to get on with it though.

Buy a fan, or just get on with it like everyone else at offices up and down the country. Come on.
