It's not just any sweaty towel....

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 05/07/2013 20:24

They are so boring too! not the towel holders

Arion · 05/07/2013 20:24

Is it an M&S sweaty towel Lynette? Wink

Eddie107 · 05/07/2013 20:25

It's gross. The players wipe their noses on them. I'd hold them at arms length between finger & thumb.

MrsDoomsPatterson · 05/07/2013 20:28

It's an honour!

HaroldLloyd · 05/07/2013 20:31

Depends who's been sweating in it.

I have always spent more time watching the ball boys and girls. It fascinates me to watch how seriously they take running after a ball and throwing a ball. Amazing.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 05/07/2013 20:37

They volunteer to do it and a lot of people signed up for it (back in my day) and they have plenty of training - my old school is just round the corner and some of my friends were balls girls.

TigOldBitties · 05/07/2013 20:40

I feel sorry for anyone who has to watch Wimbledon, soa cruelly being there and holding a sweaty towel means they have my deepest sympathies.

LastTangoInDevonshire · 05/07/2013 20:55

I am sure they are quite capable of washing their hands when they get a break!

CloudsAndTrees · 05/07/2013 21:02

I wouldn't feel sorry for them, they are being given a brilliant opportunity, and they chose to be there.
