In five minutes I have to go back up to school for sports day. I'd not know what the weather is like where you are but here it rained like a bastard last night.

I just slipped over in the garden while doing the chickens.

But FGS this is what really pisses me off on MN.Who has said they keep their children indoors when the grass is wet? Who? You are just twisting words and inventing things people have said because you have run out of arguments.It is so annoying, so childish and so lacking in intelligence.

The chicken is a bastard. It thinks it is a dog and strategically places itself to cause maximum confusion. It won't sleep with the other chickens and sleeps in the house in a cat box.

I force it to go out in the morning and it was clearly pissed off as the grass was wet.

As I fell (quite heavily) on my arse while the car keys/house keys were in my back pocket I am the proud owner of a not inconsiderable bruise. This, alongside pmt, may have contributed to my mood...

Clearly, my home is utterly dysfunctional. let's not mention the dog who thinks it is a cat, the other dog or the four guinea pigs none of whom like rain but I don't keep my children in when it rains, they choose to come in... Honestly, bloody children having minds of their own.

my dc come in when it rains too. also, they can only entertain themselves in a forest for a maximum of about an hour, whereas apparently everybody else's dc can spend 14 hours building dens. and they prefer toys to a bucket of mud and a cardboard box. where has it all gone wrong?

I know MrsR. My children would rather play chess than football.

It is very very sad and I feel a dreadful failure.
