Should I tip the tesco delivery man? I haven't so far but don't know if it is the done thing (or allowed by tesco) to tip.

While I'm on the subject of tipping, what is standard tipping amount for a haircut? Is £2 stingy or ok (on £35 cut).

Yamyoid, it worked out at £9.50 each, but still £19 for a not so lovely waiter who took our order and delivered our lunch. Certainly nothing better than average service. I think 20% is a hefty tip for a light lunch and a few drinks.

Just a little word... Ask if the restaurant passes on the tips to the waiting staff.

Sometimes it just stays with the owners/managers.
