I mean, I live in the second largest county in England. Surely there's scope for one somewhere around here?

Don't your council leisure/sports centres have some? I just googled sauna and found several available, including in the local posh hotel.

And is one of the poorest in the country.

LauraRoslin · 30/06/2013 13:30

Those sorts of saunas usually have a rule enforcing the wearing of swimsuits, though, which destroys a lot of the point.

You will have to go to Finland.

Lioninthesun · 30/06/2013 13:34

Have you tried hammam or turkish baths on google instead?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 30/06/2013 13:35

Ah, OK. Right, this may get expensive then, but what about self-catering holiday places? Some of them have private saunas and you could get as nekkid as you like.

(Are Londoners less shy, then?)

LauraRoslin · 30/06/2013 13:38

It's not that Londoners are less shy so much that there exist sufficiently many non-shy people in London. Maybe there don't in my county.

Look at it as a business opportunity?
