just got a letter from lloyds to say my acct is moving to tsb. This will mean my savings acct will be held by lloyds and current w tsb, preventing me from doing all my banking online in one place as I do now. I called and spoke to an advisor who said I can apply to change back to lloyds but that will give me a new acct number and sort code so will have to change all my direct debits etc.
I opened my account at the lloyds near my house when I was 16, I really object to being moved to a new bank with no consultation esp when it makes my life so much more complicated than it needs to be.
AIBU to think might be better off just taking the push and moving to first direct or a proper online bank w cheaper services and easier access?
