To be annoyed with this dog poo lady

Saw a woman with a huge dog today, without warning dog stopped and did a massive steaming turd on the pavement in busy village centre. She scooped it up with a bag and threw it away, but wasnt very thorough and left a thick skid mark that anyone could step in or wheel pushchair through...this always happens to me!)

I am not really sure what she should have done but I was still annoyed. Maybe she could have used another bag to try and scrape up the skid more thoroughly, or poured water on it, or not let her dog poo there (not a dog owner, not sure how you do this, I confess)

Yabu...very.

Yes you can train dogs to poo on rough ground... But you need rough ground, not so easy in a city.

I had a stranger's small child shit all over me on a train once.
I get more grossed out by the women that leave sanpro all over public toilets or let their kids (or maybe it's them) shit all over the seat without cleaning it up.

Most people will clear up after their dogs. Most people try to be considerate but there are just as many people who are inconsiderate with their pushchairs, babies or children as are with their dogs - apart from parasites human and dog faeces spread similar bacteria.
Until there are no hedgehogs, badgers and foxes here (unvaccinated, full of parasites and high levels of disease in the population) then I will ensure I watch where my children walk and play, where I'm putting my feet (we have a nice selection of post pub vomit/piss/diarrhoea puddles) and concentrate on keeping them clean. Considering the things we will encounter here dog poo is relatively low risk, vaccinated & wormed even more so.

soverylucky

Do you not think that is gross waste of money? And highly ridiculous?

Out interest - dog owners must pick up dog poo. Why don't horse and cat owners have to do the same?
