There seem to be a lot of these "home businesses" starting up recently where people have the idea to sell cupcakes. One of my neighbours put a leaflet through my door at the weekend showing her new cupcake service and she wants to charge £7.50 per cup cake.

Now I don't care how many delicate pieces of lace you put on a cake, you can Fuck off with your £7.50!

Surely it's all about the macaroons now anyway, or was about 18 months ago. Are they still cool?

Not only is that a ridiculous price for a cupcake, but cupcakes are, like, sooo over...

Can we have a whip round to buy one for Lurve to photograph and taste, so she can tell us what amazing deliciousness makes it worth £7.50?

lottieandmia · 24/06/2013 18:46

What?? Even at Center Parcs the cupcakes on the cupcake making activity are not this expensive!

If Heston Blumenthal made me a cupcake and it had some kind of caviar in it, I'd pay 7.50 for it.

In the words of Bannatyne, I'm out.

Eeeeew! Fishy cake? Not for me, McGee!
