AIBU?

I AM NOT DH's keeper

Anyone else have this problem? This week MIL has asked me to 'keep an eye' in DH's diet and 'see that he eats a bit earlier' as she's worried he is getting a bit of a tummy. She also asked me to make sure he visits his uncle while she's on holiday next month!

I AM NOT HIS EFFING KEEPER!!

Obviously DH's daddy pig growing stomach is not great, but his hours mean he always eats late-ish and IMHO it's not the time he eats but the fact that he goes back for seconds and thirds (which I'm usually trying to keep back for DS the next day!)

Similarly, he is free to visit his uncle, or we can all go as a family - he knows this - but I can't force him.

Sick of being held responsible for his choices, and feeling like I'm getting the blame somehow. Hard enough looking after a boisterous toddler as it is!

It's a generational thing, I wouldn't let it wind you up.

Just tell her what you've told us.
