I have a long essay to write and if anyone knocks on the door I'm ignoring it anyway. Am vaire busy...

Only issue is putting offending nappies in the outside bin but I am beyond the point of caring after about 3 hours sleep! May also offend a few people with my 2 sizes too big PJ bottoms and matching tuffty on my bonce (stops the hair getting in my eyes when I'm procrastinating studying).

AIBU? Grin

Nope - sounds fine to me :)

theorchardkeeper · 21/06/2013 14:22

That's sorted then.

Sorry one door down...you shouldn't curtain twitch so much if you don't like what you see Grin

No. I do the same when I get home from work.

Good luck with the essay.

EMS23 · 21/06/2013 14:25

That's my standard uniform when at home and I don't have any essays to write.

theorchardkeeper · 21/06/2013 14:25

Thank you

(Because in all honesty I am going to need it Grin )

I do it all the time (essays or not!) - good luck :)

theorchardkeeper · 21/06/2013 14:31

Glad I'm not the only bum one Grin

Nope it's not just you! My neighbours are used to seeing me stick nappies in the bin in my pjs or dressing gown!

theorchardkeeper · 21/06/2013 14:36

I just cannot comfortably spend hours sat at a table in jeans and a bra. it's not physically possible is it? Grin

I haven't got dressed today yet. 2yo ds has spent his time watching films and Cbeebies. I feel a bit guilty, but worked a hugely stressful 16 hour day yesterday and didn't get to bed until 3am, having been up before 6. I'm also 30w pregnant.

An essay also sounds like an acceptable reason.

Am literally about to go pick up DS now, feed and water him then surround him with crayons, paper, disney dvds and cars. That should last a good few hours yes it's not the best parenting but he loves it & it's a one off Smile

He shall also be in PJs. I can feel my granny turning in her grave!

Jammies here too, hate bra's and restrictive clothing :)

theorchardkeeper · 21/06/2013 16:14

Just spent half an hour on the bloomin phone to Open Uni but have secured my place on the next bit of the degree so it was worth it. Back to bra-less essay writing! Grin

Where you are going wrong is in your phrasing. Change into the same things but refer to it as leisure wear (Pronounced leeshoor) I found the minute I changed my terminology it became acceptable immediately

TWinklyLittleStar · 21/06/2013 18:13

I would absolutely die without a bra at the moment my boobs are so big and sore but otherwise I am in whole hearted agreement. I am still in my jeans only because getting changed out of uniform into them was enough hassle and I couldn't be arsed standing up.

Shutupanddrive · 21/06/2013 18:14

YANBU, I'm in mine before the dc's some nights

Oblomov · 21/06/2013 18:16

Why not. Why do you need the studying excuse? I put my dressing gown asap, when I possibly can.

pigglepaggle · 21/06/2013 18:39

If you're comfy in them why not.
As soon as I get in from work I change into baggy t shirt and cropped pants. After tea PJs are on.

Chottie · 21/06/2013 20:00

I'm in my jammies too :)

EMS23 · 21/06/2013 20:02

LJL69 - that made me laugh. Sick of my MIL's rolling eyes and glaring disapproval at my attire, I informed her that my pj's were in fact M&S finest "House Trousers"!
She never gave me that disapproving look again!

qualitytoffee · 21/06/2013 20:03

YADNBU!!! x
I've had 2 back teeth out today with sedation and gas, i intend not to get dressed all weekend! and its suppossed to piss down tomorrow Grin

Snazzywaitingforsummer · 21/06/2013 20:07

YANBU! I will go to the bins and indeed to get stuff from the car in PJs.

I also like to put mine on after DS is in bed, and change from daytime bra to comfy house bra (anyone else do that?)
