To ask if anyone else's periods get heavier if they drink more?

Taking advantage of the wonderful world of Mumsnet to ask this...

Mine do (Obvs). It's something I've noticed over the years, a bout of heavy drinking or general over-indulgence is followed by a heavier period. When I'm being extremely virtuous I seem to barely bleed at all.

I can't be the only one surely?

Hmm maybe it is just me. Delete, delete.

I've noticed that a hangover can sometimes actually be my period starting, and I get drunk quicker a day or 2 before my period.

Think there's a connection in there somewhere!
