Who should clean the dog shit out of this child's shoe?

My dds friend has come over for tea. I took them to the park and the little friend has trodden in dog shit. I have done most of it but it is all stuck in the ridges and WILL NOT COME OUT! so do I continue to scub away with a toothbrush or just hand it all back to her mum? I hate this part of parenting sooooo much!

I would hand it back to her mum with a smile and a comment that I'd got most of it out.

Her mum/dad should do the rest. You've done your bit. Shit happens [snigger]

well you have done your bit valiantly, just tell the mum what happened and that you did your best to clean it off.

In a carrier bag and a wry smile as you hand it back.

the dog owner! But failing your being able to track them down then I also agree that you have done your duty to the best of your ability.

Valiant effort. Put the shoes in a nappy sack and hand then back.
