to ask if all freezers are frost free?

Sorry, boring question I know. Am buying a freezer, rather than a fridge freezer. None of them are described as frost free - the fridge freezers are, but not the stand alone freezers. Have awful memories of student freezer that needed defrosted every month and want to avoid that, aibu to assume that all freezers these days are frost free?

Yes you are - if they're frost free, they should say so. (I had a devil of a time getting one.)

PS - sorry, I wasn't clear. I had a devil of a time because I wanted a front opening stand alone freezer with drawers. It may be easier if you were prepared to go for a chest freezer.

We got a new one 6 months ago and it's not frost free, the frost free ones were much more expensive.
