To want dh to stop leaving USED dental floss by the side of the bed?

I am clearly not being unreasonable. It is DISGUSTING. Why? Why?

He flosses in bed and then just leaves it there. Sometimes it goes down the side of the bed. Sometimes it ends up in the bed.

The romance is dead in my marriage.

My Dad used sewing cotten as floss and re wrapped it around the spool ugh lovely if you had to sew a button on with it after

That's disgusting! Does he not know what he's leaving there? All those bits of manky food and bacteria, releasing the same compounds that you find in rotting flesh! Vile!

I'm not germophobic, just learnt a bit too much about dental biochemistry at college. Confused

The CEO of my former employer used to floss his teeth at his desk. And leave the used floss and bits on his desk / computer. BOAK

And he had other disgusting habits too.

Very glad I no longer work there, for many different reasons.

I'll see you leaving it by the bed and raise you leaving it on the arm of the sofa, as my DH does. If I complain, he puts in the coal-scuttle Hmm

Gross gross gross.

I've asked him not to do it but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Sometimes he puts it down the toilet where it floats around on the top. I've asked him not to do this too.

Revolting.

Don't you normally rinse out your mouth after flossing? Why on earth would you do it in bed? Confused YADNBU.
