AIBU?

Share your dilemmas and get honest opinions from other Mumsnetters.

to wonder what is the point in having lots of topics, if I rarely get a reply unless it is in chat or AIBU?

Sorry!

I posted this
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/bullying/1782611-6-year-old-DD-being-bullied-help-with-next-steps

at 11.15 this morning, it has been bumped a number of times and only managed one reply, from the lovely DeWe (thankyou!)

I would really appreciate other input / advice!

Yanbu. The problem is everyone puts stuff in AIBU "for extra traffic". People should use Active Convos more.

Sorry to hear about your DD btw.

I've also had the following email conversation with MNHQ after reporting a thread which was a complete non AIBU:

MNHQ: Hiya Mardy,
Thank you for getting in touch about the non AIBU. We think the op has put it there to get some traffic so we have to leave it for now.
Best wishes,
MNHQ

Me: Hello MNHQ
But isn't that the point? If everyone puts everything in AIBU for extra traffic, then AIBU gets clogged up!

There have been threads on this before and the advice has been to report non AIBUs so they can be moved. : )
Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
I know it's not the end of the world though.

Thanks in advance.

MNHQ: We're sure the OP in this case knows of the type of responses that starting a thread in AIBU brings and we doubt she'll do it again. We're happy to ask her if she'd like us to move it though.
Best wishes

To be fair, I didn't actually read the thread in question, I just read the title and thought that it wasn't an AIBU. Can't find it now, so maybe it went tits up.
