Am I BU to be shocked that he would steal a thread from here and use it as a phone in? Does he do this a lot?

SamuelWestsMistress · 17/06/2013 12:13

Hahaha was this the baby shower grabbyness? I saw it and thought that too!

Damnautocorrect · 17/06/2013 12:15

I bet he spends hours trawling mumsnet looking for stuff.
Not maybe researchers, definitely Mathew wright.

There's also this thing where mumsnet users like to think they are the only forum on the web to discuss things.

It was a relatively recent thread about the lady who took her son back to the shop to apologise when she found chocolate wrappers under his bed that turned out to have been shoplifted by him

OP posts:
1Veryhungrycaterpillar · 17/06/2013 12:20

Oh and he showed a screenshot of the thread so it was definitely MN

OP posts:
WineNot · 17/06/2013 12:38

It's info that's in the public domain.

Why shouldn't he use a thread from MN?

1Veryhungrycaterpillar · 17/06/2013 12:46

I didn't say he shouldn't just didn't know that he did so it took me by surprise. I guess I don't blame him though there are some very burning issues on the AIBU thread

OP posts:
VonHerrBurton · 17/06/2013 12:50

Yes, it is in the public domain. Regular mners and watchers of The Wright Stuff will know he takes the piss out of this site, its contributors, and other similar sites.

That's why it annoys people when his producers do the 'lets pick a thread' from mn/nethuns.

Having said that, he is my guilty pleasure, sorry!!

SarahAndFuck · 17/06/2013 13:00

He does it all the time.

He sticks two fingers up to MN with the one hand and steals his topics from here with the other.

And he looks like Pob.

It's always my secret hope that he will steal a troll thread and end up discussing Sharon on his show.

timidviper · 17/06/2013 13:03

It does happen all the time. Take a deep breath ladies and think imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

ElectricSoftParade · 17/06/2013 13:11

Cheeky sod! That was my thread! And I didn't see it, boooo

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 17/06/2013 13:13
Shock

He does look like Pob, doesn't he?

Well spotted!!

OP posts:
1Veryhungrycaterpillar · 17/06/2013 13:15

I spent my childhood wanting to marry POB now that's ruined

Channel 5 has 5 on demand. You can watch it back. They can b quite slow putting up the programs on the website though.

ElectricSoftParade · 17/06/2013 13:17

Will have to look out for it. What was the concensus then? WIBU? I still don't think so...

VonHerrBurton · 17/06/2013 13:18

oh so ?youre? the other one, Nick :)

WildlingPrincess · 17/06/2013 13:18

Sarahandfuck That's scary! He is Pob!

Sparklingbrook · 17/06/2013 13:23

He covered the famous 'clock in the centre of the mantelpiece' thread. then took the piss out of what we talk about on MN. Confused
